The Plot....or lack there of....my life

I think I'm tired....assume I should be tired. But you don't get ahead by sleeping on your behind! It's almost 5 o'clock and not the good 5 o'clock, but as you can see I am awake anyways.....So lets get this "life" thing situated, somewhat. Nah lets just talk shall we =)

My Name is Nicole. I am the Owner of www.penniebaby.com. I am also the owner of Isabel age 8 & Sophia 16 months ;). I have a very wonderful boyfriend who supports me and lets me "work" from home ( I know i air quoted but I really do work!). I aspire to be....well RICH.. but who doesn't. But seriously I just want to be able to be my own person & I honestly believe & have enough faith in myself to know that I can make something of myself, by myself.

Jump starting the boutique-

I got my new computer today (Macbook Pro) I thought I was going to be excited enough just to be getting a new computer, but when this bad boy came in to my life my whole world changed! This computer was a present from my boyfriend. We purchased it online on Sunday March 20th. Apple.com insisted it ships within 24 hours, but i guess i should have read the fine print (i.e. invisible print) that clearely says ships when ever the hell we want it to. So any ways 6 days later (and yes i know 6 days, big whoop BUT i needed this computer to keep my business running and 6 days is a lifetime to me) it is here! I have done so much stuff just today. 1. Check emails 2. Added my website email to the computer which my other computer refused to do 3. Added customer email addy's 4. had 2 give aways on my FB fan page 5. surfed the internet & googled anything that popped into my head WHICH is my FAV thing to do uh EVER! 6. & got some orders ready for work on Monday. Now i know that may not seem like a whole lot but all of that on my old small sloooow netbook would have taken 3 days because I would have gotten frustrated and given up only to try again later....I will post a picture of my old net book so you can see why it was so important it be gone!

Now where was I....

Oh yes. Jump starting the bizz. So I have the new computer-check. Now I still need to re-organize my office, Do an inventory count, and last but not least get my but into gear and get started on some new orders! My mom and I signed up for our 2nd ever craft fair that we are oober excited about. Its in like mmmm 3 FRIGGIN WEEKS away and I barely have enough stuff for set up! I know I will be fine once the day comes but I like to keep myself worried about not finishing something so that I finish way ahead of schedule. I am really relying on this craft fair to get us some more traffic to our website. I have tons of FB fans and good regular customers but I am the type of person that feels like I'm getting no where in life if I'm not psychotically busy at all times. Plus who wouldn't want more business?? So thats......that.

Okay so I may be bias but I have the cutest kids in the world =)

And if I'm not making them their clothes (which right now if they were only wearing things i made they would be walking around in custom flip flops and hair bows....no clothes...maybe tu-tus if my mom would be generous enough to let them not go through life bare ass. So when a mother of a sale comes my way i take full advantage, and this week happens to be JBF weekend! I have been shopping JBF (for you JBF virgins-its basically a big huge garage sale in a air conditioned convention center) for 3 years now and absolutely love it! I went wednesday and got the girls shoes, sandals, pants -Isabel got designer denim-, shorts, shirts, dresses, and some little living room chairs cause Sophia doesn't like to share anything (she stole that necklace she's wearing from her Fancy Nancy doll & Nancy is sadly mistaken if she thinks she's ever getting it back) let alone a damn chair all for $160...not bad BUT I am going back tomorrow because Sunday is 50% off day!! Crazy right!! I can't wait to get them some new used clothes!

OH & did I mention I am going to try to get a booth at the next JBF sale in August?! Yep Millionaire in the making right here......well I would settle for a thousandaire ;)
